I appreciate the suggestion Mathias, but it's just work for a class so I'm not going to take it to it's own thread and work into it when I'm not so invested in it anyway

It's often better to leave old stuff behind and forge ahead. Don't dwell. So, wise thinking, I'm sure.

On your sketch, I think you
did achieve a decent vintage look. Reminds me of Audrey Hepburn or something.
Toons are still killing me. But I think I'm gaining ground.
