Pseudo-impressionism with Paint.

on: July 16, 2006, 07:58:01 pm
Does Paint spray be useful? I don't know, but I tried to use it to do some pseudo-impressionism.

18 colors, I think the water reflex effect gone right.

Sport stamp for Gas 13's site. If he doesn't accept this stamp, no problem, anyways, I'm still testing the style.

I won't abandon the normal pixel art, these are just some tries, searching for a new style.

The top one has something about it that seems okay and interesting, but it could never be called more than scrap. The bottom one is embarrassing. I say just stick to normal pixel art, stay away from the spraycan.

so THAT'S what a painting would look like on beach sand....

if you want to do it, go for it.  it ain't pixelart though - 'pixel purposely'.

Looks pretty nice, I must say. But it's not pixel art. Once you start going about only using the largest of brushes, it's regular digital art.

The second one is just messy, though.

it may not be pixel art, but it sure is an interesting concept to restrict yourself to only use the spray can.

kinda fun too :)

@ Indigo: That looks awesome, even if I don't know how to describe it. Hehe.

Yeah I agree with Zach. Do you want to be a nazi and only see St0vens post here? If everyone was like that, this forum would be empty. Come on, have a great time and don't be so negative. As if life isn't shit enough..
