I think the background could be lightened. The tile saturation is fine. I'd leave it there. Make sure the lines are smooth. Smoothen them out, or they look much like drawings for concept art.

I quite like the style of this, and I also strongly agree with Zolthorg!

BTW, I'm no expert... but I do think it would be more suited to actually darken the background (sorry Zach). It's just that I think it's meant to be nightfall, with the blue fading into the purple, far in the background :). But maybe this is a miss-conception of my own to darken due to it being nightfall?

Hmmm looks pretty cool  :P you're making a flash game?

Sorry for being off topic but this is wrong, flash is an ideal way of making 2D games. Check out games like Heli Attack 3, Sylvaniah, Death in Sakkara etc etc... and you'll now that flash is GREAT tool.

Sorry for being off topic but this is wrong, flash is an ideal way of making 2D games. Check out games like Heli Attack 3, Sylvaniah, Death in Sakkara etc etc... and you'll now that flash is GREAT tool.



Point taken, but its a non-issue anyway, I'm using Multimedia Fusion 2 regardless of Flash's suitability.

And to whoever mentioned it looks too much like a drawing, thats the point ;P
