I would suggest you to add one more lighting shade to give some depth!
for the trown doll pose you could change it by using stick figure to eliminate the pose in your mind!

Looking good so far. Firstly, I'd say, nice idea and good pose/ start. Now, you need to add some more detail to the clothes/ skin ect. The face looks basic, and is lacking, so working on that would be good.. Unless of course, you're going for a 'doll' like appearance..

umm, some anatomy issues for sure...but even so, the whole image is very rough. the stance itself isnt very fluid, i really dont think a pirate woman such as this would be standing in such an awkward pose either. im not really good with the whole CnC deal.

ps. theres no need to post a zoomed image seeing as the board is equipped with zoom itself.

Thanks guys, I'll try to update.  I posted a zoomed one because it was a gif, and only pngs work with the zoom feature.

Where did you hear that? It's not true in the slightest, all files work with the zoom in system.

Here is an easy way to test if .gif files work: post a .gif file, and then click it and see if it zooms.
