Chibi Samurai Robo?

on: July 04, 2006, 04:17:54 am

Well I was dead bored, so I decided to talk with Kren about some spriting. He gave me the topic of Chibi Robots, and I took that and did this thing. Only spent about an hour on it so I'm not quite happy with the hands and possibly the color on the head, so if you have any C+C, that would be great.

Nice shading you got there. Illuminate it. To give it a samurai head, simply add a horn to a helmet with like a squarish  thing on top of the head. Add armor to your robot shoulders and make the legs big and strong. When making chibis, make the head as big as the body. Robot eyes have 3 types of shapes: Triangular/Cresent, Rectangular/Polygonal, and Circular/Round type. You don't have add a mouth to it. My mouth is mechanical. I'll probably write a tutorial on mecha design.

Hehe, that looks pretty good. More samurai-like than mine anyways, even if you did save that as a sort of lossy gif. ;) I'll take some of these things into consideration and see what happens.
