on: January 20, 2013, 10:10:46 am
COMPANY:
Rebel Developers
http://www.rebeldevelopers.com

PROJECT:
We need to be able to generate random Planet images for a game where each one is unique
To do this we need a set of base images that represent the 10 classes (listed below) of Planet used
Require 5 images for each base with their own elements like land masses, seas, forests, cities etc
Then we can mix the elements between the images to create random Planets

SPECS:
Total of 50 images
The images should be Pixel Art
Planets each at 200x200px
In PSD format with each element in it's own layer

DETAILS:
Our budget for this project is $400
This amount is negotiable based on previous work
Payment will be through Paypal in USD
Looking for completion within 30 days

EXAMPLES:

Very basic example of a Terrestrial Planet

Planets need to match the quality of the Starships in the game

These are the Planet Classes

50 pictures at 200x200 with this quality needs a few days of work, not just hours.
I'm not sure 400$ is attractive enough for the required quality.

While tim's reasoning is sound, 400$ does sound good to me, since I don't have any expenses.
So, of course, people who actually make a living might have a different opinion...

I'm busy for eight more days, though, so if you need that quick, I can't apply for the job
