@Ai that looks interesting =O

I've always been looking for a mindmapper app that can help me organize all the nerdy notes I take from all the shit I watch and try to deconstruct :p I've been using CherryTree lately because it has a heirarchical structure and you can paste images and links, and you can export it to htm...although i've had some trouble exporting ALL of the notes

I'mma try this 'cuz it looks quite different but it sounds interesting, in a  not what I wanted but maybe  what I needed kind of way :p

After actually getting more into TreeSheets, yeah, I'll happily endorse this. It handles text and complex structuring tasks really well. My only complaint is that I so far cannot figure out how to enter a subgrid via the keyboard. I suspect that is a PEBCAK error, though -- it's incredibly well equipped with keyboard shortcuts.
(EDIT: Just hit Insert, the same shortcut used for adding a subgrid. It works because you can only have one subgrid per grid.)

@Mathias: Interesting, an online.. collaborative?.. mindmap tool. Definitely not something I had ever considered might exist. Could be really good for brainstorming. I have a distant relationship with mindmapping -- I want to like it, but then it chokes horribly on trying to manage large/complex texts and/or large graphs.

So far the best offline mindmap tool I've found is VYM (View Your Mind). I can't quite bring myself to make that an actual endorsement though.

That's a very good point, I haven't really noticed the time flying by. Asap, don't worry.

Yep. Just like a Google doc - multiple editors collaborate in real-time. Currently using mind42 with two other people. Works really well.
But I know what you mean. It pays to keep things really concise.

I wasn't that confident in my understanding of armatures in Blender, and I had discovered that Treesheets works quite well for structuring a tutorial, so I wrote this
tutorial, which is essentially about 'making an animation of paper folding into a cube' using Blender.

Resulting image:

Not so happy with TreeSheets' options for cell BG color -- they're mostly way too saturated.

@ Cyangmou:
"The size of this pile of blank paper represents my level of inexperience/incompetence" (this is how I think about it).
Nice to be reminded of that comic. For some reason I get the feeling it is quoting Art+Fear in the beginning there.

@Ai
I've been looking for a good desktop-based Mind-mapping software for a while now, and Treesheets looks like it'll do the trick! Thanks for the link!  ;D
