It's really simple, actually. Just color in this silhouette. You must use ALL of the black, and, if necessary, you can have stuff protrude into the white a little.

At the top of my head, I can already think of 8 things that this could be.

Actually that was the right file, I did it as a joke.  Yet, no one got it.  Anyway I felt bad so I really did it.  Its called Samurai Metal Slug.  I really had trouble with this.  It was such an akward thing that I couldn't thinkg of anything.  Yes Evan I used your skin tones.  I always make them wrong when I do them myself.

Bloody, near death green slime. (without using the white space AT ALL)

The jaggedness of the black made for a edged slime, but you get the idea.

Bleh, my first attempt was so bad I couldn't sleep until I redeemed myself.  I haven't slept in days.  Here is my new product. Had to go outside the black a tad in some areas and leave some black areas out but, I like it alot better.

Not really, overlay the template.  The tail on right side fits perfectly.  The head bairly leaves the template except on the left, and just the tip of the tail is in the white.  Try it its Dib-A-Rific!

Damn you, Helm. Stealing my otherwise-cheaply earned spotlight... with a crappy background-less low-color picture...

Still, this is actually my first pixelpiece since Pixelation went down. So you might say I'm a tad rusty. Just a tad. Also, I haven't slept in.. say... 20 hours... I'm sure that's got something to do with it as well... Anyway. This NEEDS a dark background, so it's a bit bigger than it'd have to be. Thus, I link it.

And if you doubt my following the silhouette because of the blackness; beta-ish proof!

[edit!] Noticed something else to complain about regarding the board itself. I want a longer summary-thing while typing a new post! [/edit]

hehe thanks, though this isn't very good as it's rushed and i'm outta practise. Note how dark parts of the face are although there's no sense to it. In fact, given the backwards lightsource, the face should be darker in exactly the middle, almost reverse-pillow shaded heh, but I lacked the balls to re-paint the whole face after I made the background.

I'm not too sure what it is... a fish... maybe flying...  Going "ooooh, aaaaah" at the sky outside the water... Hmm, it looks lighter at work.

Woohoo :) Been a while since I've done any pixel stuff.
Here's a quickie done on a coffee break (6 colors). Template flipped upside down. Had a hard time resisting temptation to draw a character of some sort (Helm raised the bar too much I guess ;)).

Added bagman (16 cols or so)...

Just some good practise I suppose. I was too lazy to do a background where that pale green is. :P
