My picture shouldn't have a white background.. will have to fix that. Also seems like some links are broken.

EDIT: When doing a preview post and putting my image on the forum directly with forum tags.. the transparency displays correctly. But when it's a link, it seems to have a white background, help? The shadow is alpha transparency, and the background should be fully transparent. Also, using Imgur.

Kren - Hoping I got the idea across in my picture for you that the robot's head is a flipped over design of the Nichijou girl on the other side. I originally had ambitions to animate a transformation from the animu girl into a robot, but my schedule was too demanding to dive into it. Had a sketched animation rough I wanted to you have to go with your present though, just for fun.

Aw, thanks very much Lóng     Three lovely gifts.  I can tell first one is Batman done in what seems to be CPC Mode 1 and second is Back to the Future in CPC Mode 0.  I'm not sure what machine the Marvel Vs Capcom picture is based on (Gameboy Color perhaps?) but I like that you picked that one (the first Marvel Vs Capcom is the only one in that series I enjoy playing and recently bought MvsC: Origins on PSN to play it and Marvel Super Heroes again).   All three look great and full of retro charm (especially loving the wide-pixel Doc & Marty).  They put a big smile on my face this morning. 


Really great work from everyone.  These Secret Santa's are always full of some amazing and very appealing work.

You asked to do something I haven't done yet. So there you have it. I always wanted to, but never did work with 4 colors only before. I was always amazed at what could be done with just 4 colors on the Game Boy, so I gave it a shot. I did, however, not follow any other hardware restrictions (besides resolution). I'm sorry it didn't turn out that well. I'm just not a pixel artist

As for mine: I used a ton of colors that I probably didn't need to (and I didn't really use them interestingly), and I had to erase a good chunk to work in a different pose (which ended up for the best since the old pose was awkward and less action). I know next to nothing about the subject I drew so I hope it turned out alright.

For the record: those who didn't turn up were given a strike & banned until march and those that were really late were only given the strike. I thought that doing the same to those that didn't manage to finish their gift entirely would be pretty unfair given the amount of effort put into a lot of them and would require making individual judgement as to what's finished or not. The thread's not going to be locked so any updated stuff can be linked and commented on.

It's been a great turnout and great pixels, so thanks!
