Nanotechnology lab site at UCSF

on: November 20, 2012, 08:27:23 am
Just launched my research lab website: http://bionano.ucsf.edu/

This was done in collaboration with my artist friend Jason Brown (http://pendulumswingmedia.com/). This is our first pixel-art project, and we'd love some comments and feedback.

By the way, the source PSD files are available on the downloads page, under a CC-BY license. Hopefully someone will find them useful!

cheers,
Shawn

It's a bit weird to have double-pixel resolution (on the right) images scaled down to half their size. They just turn the pixel art into something blurry ...

From my point, it seem good enough overall, that's not a big deal. You zooming the pixel so it could be fit with the page right ?, perhaps you should make them with regular pixel size, but it may take more time.
Your picture also looks funny when it pixeled.
