Wow really cool work everybody. My piece was the first one, and I'm not at all in the style of the following pieces. Perspective, realistic vs cartoony, etc… I'm wondering if I can redo it to achieve a better base for the red totem, and fit better with everyone's styles ? It would be great, thanks.

Ha, Rune pole is proving quite amusingly eclectic; steampunk too now! bring the weird Blune guys.

Tim: there's no pressure to conform, stylistically or thematically, the broader the range the better imo; whatever takes your fancy. With that said, if you're not quite satisfied than go for it.

Also I have updated the rules to include:
- Your totem should be of the minimum width or greater at both ends

This simplifies blending between totems.

Btw, PixelPiledriver, a suggestion.
What about adding a different background for each height, starting with the ocean, sky, clouds, space, stars and finally the moon?

I agree this is a good idea.
It'd be fun if every 10 a new backdrop was "revealed" and added to the image.
But at the moment I don't have enough time to do this.
It'll happen sometime!
