Is it ok to pretend to overlap? Like use the same style as the one below to blend the two together?
Sure feel free to blend with another totem.
But I'm trying to keep things in order of submission unless there's a good reason not to.
If three people PM me with "Hey I have a finished chunk that blends to the same totem as someone else! I want that spot!" it will get a bit complicated.
I'm allowing re-submissions so if you post a placeholder for me to use that will at least keep things in a first come first serve order.
Personally I'm going to draw my totems without blending to simplify.
But I won't discourage it if it's something you really want to do.

Also you can submit as many entries as you want so it could be easier to blend 2 or 3 of your own chunks to make 1 large one.
Is using all the colours in the palette mandatory?
Nope.
Your totem fits the rules just fine.

Altho if anyone decides to exclude the character unique colors make sure to tell me which pole it belongs to.
