Hard to sketch at this resolution..
At least for me

I thought I'd give it a perspective. I have no idea about monkey anatomy though so this might just be wrong  
Moving the tail up quite a bit makes it read like a tail though, rather than a lolipop head

It's about time baby tossing caught on.   

I like the monkey and the animation. My mind jumped to Lollipop-Man, too at first, but mainly due to the lack of color. Not much to say about the baby itself at this stage. The idle animation is somewhat awkward, but I'm sure it'll get straightened out later. Very funny; I'd like to see more!

I was stuck so i drew a head and then more heads.. probably not worthy.. i need some ideas.

For a while I thought the first sprite was a monkey (because of the topic title only) with a spiral for his head.  

The falling baby looks really cool. I would develop that into a colored animated sprite. If I was Alex.
