IGD [Alpha] - Isometric Graphic Drawer

on: July 12, 2012, 10:23:07 pm
Hi!

I'm a programmer and I got some idea about Isometric Graphic Drawer. Now I have made it about one hour and it includes 160 lines of code.
I'm only asking, do you know any other this kind of isometric pixel art program? I will develop this in future more, but here is one screenshot:

Grafx2, with the Line tool, when you hold shift, the line is constrained to the closest multiple of 45° or "iso" angle.

isometric tile handling for one, that'd make it extremely useful for game mockups and ISO visualization.

multiples of 45° or "iso" angle.

that's not the primary iso angle, neither dimetric or trimetric (2&3 pixel steps(and major forms of ISO)) are 45° only a select few games do 45° angles, and also GIMP for one does not have a snap for dimetric or trimetric angles, (but with a grid it's easy to do manually) so that alone would have a great advantage over alot of drawing tools

the feature that'll make this the most attractive would be multiple layer tiling support angle.[/quote]

that

He did not mean 45 degrees aka iso angle. GrafX2 does both.
There are no ugly colours, only ugly combinations of colours.

OT: keep intending to use that program, even downloaded it, never got around to installing, will try it out now, sounds like it's quite feature rich
