Hello everyone,
Here is one of my first serious attempt at something else than a stick man. I am really not good at art in general, but I feel like pixel art is something where I could, with a lot of dedication, be able to do semi-decent things eventually.
My goal for this sprite is to make a "rat man" (based on Warhammer's skavens).
My reference was an unassembled skaven figurine:
And here is what I made of it:

I know there are some issues with this, but I feel I make things worse whenever I try to fix them.
- I think my shading is off (one day I'll get the hang of it)
- The arm looks wobbly
- I couldn't manage to grasp the "mean" look of the face, and it looks kinda more like a dog than a rat
At least, I think it's better than my first attempt at a rat man (without reference):
