imho, the black "outline" you have on the eyes tends to kill the nuance of your smileys  :'(. I suggest you compare it against the dark-blue shade used by the pixelation smileys, or consider something softer.

I'd suggest that the "disagreement" smiley has a sad mouth as soon as he stops reading, rather than when he starts waving his head.

Gah, I misread your post, I thought you were talking about the outline of the smiley! I'll fix this in the next version then.

A few more (I'd like the improve the expressions/readability of the smileys):

What colourscheme does that site have? It's difficult to immediately read the expressions on Pixelation's current one. You could up the contrast/brightness, perhaps with a shift towards yellow. They convey their message pretty well, except for the lol one - looks like he's high or something.

Are they meant to look like spheres or discs? At the moment it's the latter.

I really like you have going here; the expressions are very well done, though I admit I don't exactly understand what's going on in the second to last one (someone smiling giddily and then they got shot?). The problem is mainly one of color; I think the black outline around the eyes could be done away with, and a brighter shade of yellow would be more appealing unless you're going to use them for something with a bright color scheme.

@Jeremy:
I think a link can probably give you a better idea about the color scheme. You can find the website here.

I think they're supposed to look like discs. I'll give the contrast thing a shot, you never know.

@Bissle:
Yes, the guy gets shot. It's supposed to be used when someone is making fun of you. I guess I wanted to try something different.

Thanks for the input about the black outline, I'll do my best to avoid this in the future. No, the color scheme is rather dark. I actually used a default smiley from the forum which I modified but that doesn't mean the color we picked at the forum is the right one  :).
