The Compulsory Tree Tile/Sprite!

on: June 06, 2012, 05:17:36 pm
Hey Guys! first time posting something as far as art goes. I'm making a final fantasy-like game and made this tree in my spare time. C+C are helpful! 9 colors, palette at the top(black wasn't included in the final version)

I'm planning on putting this in a commercial game so all criticism helps :D

Hello Cheatsguy,

If you're making a final fantasy game, I think the perspective for your tree might be off. It seems like it's seen from the front as opposed to being seen from the ''rpg perspective''.

Here's what I mean:

It looks really nice, but it could use some extra contrast on the leaves. I don't necessarily think you need to change the perspective, but having everything match in perspective is helpful.
