i think 'pixelation the game' implies something that has more to do with the community (or at least the old community), developed by that community, for the community... these things should really be called "current and future game releases by wayforward technologies... which  happens to employ a few people who used to frequent pixelation wayback when" if you want to get technical about it.

Ah, so it sounds like this one will be an imrpvement, not to say that xmen 3 looked at all shabby, but im looking forward to seeing how it looks particularly now that youve implied it i s much better.

I don't know. Readers of the past threads will know what this is all about. I like to know what the cream of the pixelation crop are up to. And for me its like saying if you are good at pixel art you can get yourself out there and published in a wicked game :P
thanks Dogmeat!

Changed. We do have new people from the current community debuting in each game, too. Monsoon on Sigma, Panda on X-Men, Vedsten on JLH. So it's not like it has no ties to the current community.

Mostly just better in terms of programming and gameplay. Artwise it'll be on par with X-Men.

Adam, I'm glad to see there's another project with the artists of this forum. Even though we're talking about just a hand full, I think we, as community, should be proud of them nonetheless.

Is WayForward Technologies planning to release NDS/PSP games in the future?

Yes, we're doing 2 DS games right now and I think all of our games in the future will be DS, PSP or console. This could be the company's last GBA game.

Congrats to Vedsten! The lineup looks great, JLH should be a real treat to the eyes. What kind of style are you going with for the sprites? Will it have a cartoony, simplified look or are you going for a more realistic approach like you had in x-men?

Characters are very similar to X-Men, but much smaller (standard human is 32p tall). Backgrounds are sort of iso simplistic style (Nick's stuff) and a little more lush on the boss fight backgrounds (Vedsten).
