Does anyone knows how this is called? Or from which game it originally is?

It seems to be fanart pixels by SuperBrothers of the Sci-Fi serious Firefly of the Lead Protagonist Cpt Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds.
SuperBros have done quite alot of what can only be referred to as fan art in their/his signature style I recall seeing a serious of StarWars ones by the same artist/s (SuperBrothers made the rather acclaimed art-house pseudo adventure Game Sword & Sworcery)

Thx! It's a really awesome style. I thought it was based upon a very old game, but after hours of searching I found the game that was in my head.. It has the same feeling but isn't looking like the example
