The gun looks nice as is. I would lose the dithering on the face of the rock beast, thats the only area where it's not quite working. I think now you just have to make the image work as a cover; the composition appears odd in it's unfinished state.

Sorry, forgot about this thread.  I think what you've got looks great.  I have no real crits to offer. 

Oh, don't forget to include room for a title on the cover.
