Dithering with a tablet pen is ridiculous.

Couldn't resist trying my hand at this.

Got lazy when it came time to do something with the background/shoulders.

Blast from the past! Reference: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Chich%C3%A9n_Itz%C3%A1_Goal.jpg.

Boy was it a long time since I did pixeling. I think I was around some three iterations of the board earlier...

Edit:

Changed background for more Mayan imagery.

I really dig this. You worked well with the simplicity of the palette. I was originally gonna try my hand at this but couldn't think of a way to approach it, but this is tops.

Well, here's my attempt.  I had the hardest time with the pyramid, I couldn't make it look yellow without making it glow in the dark.  Never worked with a palette I didn't pick out myself and I've never been a big fan of dithering, it's been an interesting experience.

I would really like to see a new palette/subject matter. This challenge was fun.
