Isocity

on: May 25, 2006, 09:25:13 pm
hi all,
i thought it was about time i pimped my isocity site again... not sure if I've even done that on pixelation though... oh well anyway...
its a site similar to pixelmoon and the like, basically you submit a house to me and I'll put it up on the site and links to your website(if you have one) and thats it :)

i currently have 125 submissions on there and i know Ptoing is working hard on a piece for the site, so soon it will be 126 :D

heres the link:
http://www.kennethfejer.dk/isocity/

and all the do and don't can be found here:
http://www.kennethfejer.dk/isocity/rules.htm

if you have any questions, just post them here :)

Looks good, lots of interesting designs.

this one looks out of place, though. You said they have to be pixeled, right?

David :
no sorry, but they are all pretty much the same ;)

Larwick :
cool looking forward to see it :)

crab2selout:
yea, they all have to be pixeled, i guess that one slipped through somehow.
i didn't enforce strict rules when i first started the site, but i do now! ;)

Hey, Kenneth!

If we want some info changed for our city, do we just email you the changes? Or is it stuck how it is right now :\
I have a ((very)temporary) portfolio site that I plan on updating soon...

BTW, mine is the moon/cheese city thing under Ryan Rousseau (far right, centerish).

I had actually made a house for Isocity a while ago. Not sure if I want to use it though as it didn't really say anything about me or what I do. I guess I tried to match the style of the rest.

Might make a new one, but I wouldn't have much to link to other than my DeviantART page.

if you want me to add a link to your moon/cheese city thing, just let me know ;) i dont mind fixing it.

snake:
linking to your deviant site is fine, quite a lot of the people on the page does that already :)

Takam, you might want to extend the 'shine' on that frontscreen? (Or was that intentionally? If so, why?)
And you use 229 different colors.. I don't know if that's allowed, it looks good though. ;)

I assume you mean how come the sheen doesnt go all the way to the top?
because I was watching the iso city and sometimes the vehicle goes over the footpath, and since I saved as gif, the highlight would have to be solid, and if the vehicle went behind it, it would look really bad ;)

and its 100kb so I dont think theres a problem :P

Takam: He means the shine on the front glass pane goes all the way down to the clouded area, where the shine doesn't look like it should be.
