The foliage looks like a top-down perspective which doesn't match the trunk. And another hue instead of pure black would look better.  The leaves are great though.

Yeah im changing it from pure black as we speak, im afraid id mess it up like i did my last tree a few months ago lol. Also the view is top down so I have to figure out how to make the trunk match!

It's not a bad thing, but that guide kinda SUCKS.

come on, that tree is made of cardboard leaves! THIS is how you draw a tree.

E4r, your tree looks good, better than the tree in that sucky tutorial, but you're going a bit too far with that palette, lol! The purple on the log has too much saturation, and the lightest green is too light and too different from the 2nd lightest.

EDIT: btw, I think you used enough shades of green to achieve a WAY better tree.

this should be a good base to start from, 'cause a real tree is not made by a huge green "ball" with one highlight, it's made of many highlighted balls, as you can see here

Well ill do some edits, I kinda just started agian on trees yesterday it's been a few months lol, for some reason in ball form like how you have it, it's hard for me to make leaves -shrug-
