Looks good!

The only thing I might suggest is adding a slanty shadow to the right side of the ramp; right now, it doesn't look slanted at all, and flattens the wonderful depth around around it.

I like it,
Though I'd say put some sort of shading under the fence.
It looks like its sorta just floating, other than that maybe some dots to show if theres any sand?
Also, I think the track on the corner is a little too dark,
But other than that I like this!

I'm experimenting with different kinds of shadows for now, haven't really decided which one to go with.
I tried adding depth or something to the ramp to make it not look so flat by bending the walls near it, but it still looks relatively plain.
I tried dithering it to get a "sub-shade" but it just doesn't look right, thinking I may have to redo the entire ramp. ):

Edit:

The cliffs and the fences look like they are sitting on the ground rather than embedded in it, so I softened the transition to the ground.
The pool (presuming I interpreted it correctly) likewise look to be sitting on top of the ground, so I gave it some depth.

Alleviated some of the "lack of ramp looking angled."
Added shadows to everything.
Fixed water border.
Edited cliff outlines.
Deleted a few obsolete tiles.

Made a few animations, looking for critique on them.
Mostly, the left-facing one.

Thanks for the help so far, everyone :>

Wonderful! I love the mood you've created. However, I was confused at first because I thought that the dark objects were paperthin walls with no depth. It took me a while to realize they were "cliffs". Easy way to solve this: get rid of the dark outline on the top of the cliff, that's what created the illusion that it was an object in itself. It also reduces the noise within the piece - you don't necessarily want dark outlines around everything, only the important stuff.

Here I have realized what ceddo was saying:

for you to see the effect : D He has a point in saying that not everything needs to have a black outline ; )

UPDATE: I noticed that some stuff required some, AA, so I've added some in the character's head, the big cactus, the round fat cactus (I changed its pattern too, it looked flat), the skull, and the round thing near the rails (dunno what it is) and I've made a gif for you to see the improvement : ) You should add some more AA!

Why I've been refraining from anti-alias:
Wanted to make sure the character looked decent on different kinds of backgrounds, instead of only the lightest color.
Example:

-Lots of AA on head

-Baby amounts of AA on head

Though, for sprites that don't move, the anti-aliasing looks wonderful!
I like the remake you did of the round cactus!

Thanks for pointing out the outlines on the cliffs ceddo, it looks a lot better without them :>
Double thanks to RedKnight91 for improving a ton of stuff, I love it~

I went through and tried to anti-alias larger objects using my own style, and re-shadowed the water so the shadows are facing the appropriate direction.
Haven't decided if I want that much anti-aliasing on some of the objects, but they look good regardless.
This is probably the final version for this tileset unless someone points out something substantial, I'll probably start a different theme tomorrow :>

Looks good : D Well, anti-alias should depend on the background too, if you plan to have dark backgrounds as well it's better to not use too much ; )
