One thing I note about the edit that looks neat that you didn't accomplish so well is the contrast between shades. Experiment with that a little, high contrast can really make something pop.

In my opinion, the actual legs are a bit twisted.
Maybe it comes to this cause of the right foot is facing the wrong way.

This earlier update was better (he looked like he was more in motion)


But the shading is way better, kinda like his seams and his eyes

I prefer the old tiles to the new ones, the new ones look far too hard on the eyes and seems out of place with the rest of the sprites.

well the rest of the sprites have to be redone to fit the character anyway
