Animation of Base Characer[WIP]

Hey WoP community, it's been awhile and I've been practicing pixelating, my trees still suck ._. Anyways this thread isn't about trees, it's about my animation, I just got into animating bases of these sizes, 64 x 64 and I'd like some crits!

Anyways the examples with the 1 on it were the first animation I made, but they I was going for a running type of feel(naruto type running) so those weren't correct. Anyways, I read a post a few down from mines and someone posted a very useful animation guide thingy, I read it up and pretty much used it for reference to make a running state of my own and then start adding details and stuff onto it.

The one labeled 2 is the new one, and the 4 state of a character on the button is my base.

Also the game I have is 40 FPS so I set the delay for the labeled 2 states to 2/10th of a second and it looks smooth.

It's hard to tell how it looks because it's not animated.
