Rejected Skeleton's workshop

on: July 24, 2011, 06:41:31 pm
My first topic? Yup, it sure is.
So, here are some Pok?mon sprites that I made recently. C + C is welcome.

And also, I need some inspiration for what I can sprite, like now?

It's really hard to grasp what colours you're using there on that lilac-ish background. Perhaps repost on a more neutral colour (white/grey/black)? The detailing and shading seems fairly good, but I'm not too sure about your palette.

does the elekid sprite utilize linework that's floating around? seems like i've seen it several times.

That linework or lineart or whatever you call it does seem to be common. I mostly remember badassbill using it for his. As for the elekid, there seems to be a bit of a jagged area by his crotch.

To be fair, it might just be that that's the pose that Elekid uses in the game itself, and so that's why so many people have seen it.

If they're an exact match, it's doubtful, but if they're merely similar then that's probably the case.
