Hey man, welcome to Pixelation.

Well, you have an excellent jumping off point here, there are just a few points that need some attention. ;)

Firstly, your scene is lacking shading; it's making everything look flat and dull.

Secondly, the "coastal" tiles are in a different perspective than the rest of your scene, it gives the perception that the world is "bending" at the sea and at the pond.

Finally, The grass seems a little boring, try developing some tiles which have a little more movement rather than just a single color.

Good work so far man, with a little polish you'll have a nice scene here. ;D

You are using about 12,000 unique colours. Try to cut that down to a double-digit number.

I see the trees are jagged. If you want to go for a more retro and spritey feel, imagine the world in tiles, and only one thing can go in that tile, if you know what I mean .-.

I'm sorry but this doesn't even look like pixel art?
Too many colors and you seem to be using a soft brush and not a pencil..

You can't possibly have handpicked twelve thousand colors.
And even if you use a half-transparent shadow on a top layer, it doesn't amount to that much..

It looks like you saved it as a .jpg and then a .png?

What did you use to make this?

That sounds like a good time for you to read rule #3 (post only pixel art). Not willing to be rude, here, but you're a bit like a jazz-man asking "am I playing good" at a hard-rock convention, here. Rockers might be nice and tell you whether they appreciate, but they won't be able to tell you how to improve unless you're doing some rock as well because that's what they do and know.
