Started with this today, I was originally going for a little monster but it turned into a house and I suppose you can see where it ended up. I'm happy that I've managed to make a grass tile that looks decently. Not so sure about the dithering or the colour palette.

Haha no worries! I just basically improvised it; made a cube and made a mouth and took it from there (to me it looks more like an eater than a creator). 

I'm currently reading up about perspective from some drawing books so I think I might revise that hill later... it feels odd. Thanks for the response!

Ive made it just for you if it helps you larn something it will be great, just go and experiment with it
