EDIT: Guys, I'm gonna fix up my stuff and post it another day on another thread correctly. I'd also like to have more stuff to show... Sorry.

save the image as a png then upload that into photobucket, instead of a screen shot. Then take the IMG code (located in the box titled share this photo.) and copy and paste it here. Upload at 1x because we can click on the image and it enlarges it.This way it is much more efficient to view the images.

use the mona lisa icon to generate image tags, you're much less likely to get responses if people have to click a link to see your work. As previously stated, make sure the images are at 1x, since the forum has a built-in zoom function.

I think I jumped the gun a bit, I'm going to try a couple things first before I do this.

your first image is the proper size, but the others are still zoomed

these would be the proper size, tho i think the colors mightve gotten a bit messed up

I didn't read all this but u need to edit ur original post, don't post them all zoomed in just 1:1.
png is best file format as it has a whole channel for transparency which u should really use (this style sprites just stick to 100%) unless u think the colours r too similar to the forum background...

Some critiques for the second image:

The outlines look quite broken everywhere.
The blue thing on the staff looks like a hand, even though I assume you're going for... feathers?
The girl's colours are too similar. Consider changing her hair colour, boot colour and staff colour (the purple part)
The style is nice. I like the shape of the cape.
Maybe less hair and more face?
Her bracelet is too close in colour to her skin. I didn't even see it til now.
Outline her fingers on the right hand more.
The spiky part of the hair clashes with the smooth flowy part

Alright, peace, I'm out

Nah, it was supposed to be a hand coming out of the staff. I kind of 'broke' the outlines on purpose because whenever I did do a full outline of everything it looked sort of flat, though I probably still need to play around with this a little more to get it right.

Yeah, the color scheme probably needs more contrast, to be sure (especially the bracelet), but I was hoping to keep the color pallete looking sort of 'soft'. Any suggestions on how to achieve this sort of effect?

As for the 'shape of the cape' and 'spiky hair', everything in this frame is wind-swept. This is supposed to be part of an animated gif, and this frame would probably be somewhere about midway through the gif. I could do a no-wind version of this, wouldn't take took long.
