animation?

i do pixel art and 3d modeling, im new to both of these but what i want to know is, what program do i use to make sprite animations? oh and i also saw that 3d knight in the art section and is that a 3d model with a pixel art texture?

I use GraphicsGale for that sort of thing. It's not free (it'll run you about 20 bucks), but it's also not expensive and a very nice program for that sort of thing.

I'd post the site, but I'm not sure if that's kosher. Just look up 'GraphicsGale' or 'HumanBalance' in google and you should find it.
