Been wanting to do this for a while.  But his right eye looks like shit, and I'm questioning my palette, and shading.  Looking for massive crits.

I like the design but it looks way to much like this one here

@TripleM, I think that's what he was intending. He just wants crits on the sprite itself. In which case, I'd first start with lowering the values on the legs--they're way too high compared to the highlights on the head. The leaf furthest from us also looks a bit strange. Perhaps making it all one color would make it less confusing?

Sorry I took so long to respond.  And yes, I wanted it to actually resemble Ivysaur.

I think what he meant was why use the same perspective and pose? Why remake the same bit of art when you can do something new. :] There's plenty of refs for ivy around, he was in the cartoon alot.
