Blick: Campaign

on: August 18, 2005, 12:41:04 am
I'll just skip the talking and tell you why I'm running, besides Blue telling me to do so.

One thing I really miss about the old Pixelation was those weekly challenges. Then the moderators started to slack on putting activities to do up and it was obvious that people wanted to do them, since they started posting activites themselves, but it never really was the same. It just felt more like a community when everyone was working simultaneously on the same idea and it was interesting to see how everyone interpreted the guidelines differently, so I'd really like to get those weekly challenges up every week, rather than letting a month go by and still having that dead challenge up.

Other than that, I'd like to be invloved in the ideas for activities because I believe I have a good sense of what'll fly and what won't. I think although it'd be nice to have all the activites work out, we need someone that sees if it's something the members really would want to commit to or not or else it's just wasted effort.

I suppose that's about as much as I can think of currently, so if you decide to support me you can use this little banner.

Well, you're one more supporter that... you don't have... What a tangled campaign trail we weave.

I'm going to vote for you once, and then run to my local library and vote for you again! Can you tell I'm from Illinois?

Get it? Our politics is be corrupted.

Blick's got my vote... assuming someone better doesn't run against him or someone equally good runs against him or I'm in a "mood" the day of the vote or another candidate runs an effective smear campaign against him.  ;D

I think so far everyone has voiced an opinion for more challenges. I don't want to nay-say or anything, but there's really only so much you can say or do during the campaign. Maybe it's the little things that matter :) Anyways, good luck!

Provided a challenge will 'fly', the hallmark of a good challenge is the presense of a serious critique session. What say you?
