security guard

on: April 28, 2011, 07:13:56 pm
Hey,

I made some animations for my game project. It's a security guard. In the game it will be an enemy. The stick in his right hand is a taser weapon.
First, just standing:

He switches on his taser weapon:

A walk:

Defensive walk:

An atack (very sketchy):

Please, tell me your toughts.

Toaster

edit: I noticed the animations don't play. I'm trying to upload again.
edit2: I don't understand. I created an animation with the program unfreez and uploaded on imageshack, like I always do. What's the problem?

Try http://imgur.com/ !
I prefer it to ImageShack.

P.S.: will edit this post when the animations are ok xD

Is it going to be a head-on side view? Because if it is, on all of the animations except "defensive walk", the feet are on two planes. More problems than that, but they persist on all of your sprites as far as I've seen--for one, the police's vest is really dark, so it's hard to tell that color apart from the black pants.

Sorry. I'm not English. I meant he's just bored, and switches on his taser weapon. :-[
In dutch you say it like that. ::)

I was just saying that right now it looks like he's using it on his groin.

I like the regular walk a lot. I'd try to lift his feet off the ground/add more frames for the defensive walk as well.

Add so that he looks at the tazer as he starts it up,the size is too small sadly since having him smile as he turns it on would be an awesome small thing you could do. :)

Good advice. I'll try.
