very cool lookin character. it kinda looks like a shadow of the colossus creature, but with no fur. this is just an idea, but you could put some of those rings on his chest,  around his biceps and thigh. just so the areas don't look too plain. lookin very good so far man, hope to see it finished.

whats with the black dot on the third ring of his stomach? if its gonna be a color, use it some where else or take it away.
the legs could use some more details but im not sure if this is a wip or not.

i think some very unsaturated greens could go well into this pallette, maybe as a different shade choice or as another color to be put into the design.

According to his site, "Novais finished."
The limbs aren't shaded like the torso (darker towards the rim) which makes it look WIPy.
Like Splat said, this would look cool with some rings around the limbs.
The dark part on the leg looks like it doesn't come up far enough.

The hands could use some more hilights/shading.
