Brick Atelier

on: April 18, 2011, 05:30:01 pm
New version of a tile editor released, with refactored user interface. If you are looking for a stable editor with consistent GUI, this one is not that program:) I have developed this editor just for "fun" and the fact that I didn't like any of the available editors out there.

It's for Windows, should work in low spec computers also. The window size is about 800x800 (can't be resized).

If I could replace the windows file dialog (I'm using it from inside SDL) with something portable then it should be quite easy to compile Brick Atelier for Mac (and Linux).

New version (0.84) is ready. It's got some new features, mainly now you can append tiles from another tileset. ps. Someone could edit that topic name for just "Brick Atelier", I guess it's not a good idea to start a new topic each time a new version is released.

Well it took only two years to release a new version, but here it is, 0.85:

It's still bit of a in-house development tool, but feedback is always welcome. The biggest new feature in this version are selection/masking tools.
