Trash Can

on: April 13, 2011, 01:14:16 am
Hey all, I'm just working on this little piece.

I feel like the lid turned out alright, but the bin seems very plain. I'd appreciate your opinions and any suggestions you can provide to improve it.  ;D

Decided to a bit of an edit.
I wanted more contrast? so there are more shadows and bright spots.
I also added brown to the left and took away from the right because I want it dark there.
Few other minor shading fixes.

Hmm alright, so I've really only resized the trash can to make it more proportional.

I notice that it is rather jagged, but I'm not sure how I could go about fixing that. Does anyone have any tips to help out?

Unfortunately I do not have the link nor the time to explain so you will ahve to find a tutorial yourself if you do not already know what it is.
