I'm confused and I don't know in what direction to go with this. I wanted it to be more detailed, but I've no idea how to properly texture this grassy hill  :-\

Pick out a few shades of the green, and start making all the straws of grass. Give it some motion, make it seem as if the wind is blowing. Determine where you want the wind to come from, and form the grass. Add some darker and some lighter patches of grass on the hill, a hill that grows freely have patches where the grass grows faster and where it grows slower and doesn't soak up as much rain, giving it patches where it can be all lush and green and patches where the grass is almost yellow because it doesn't suck up as much rain as the other patches.

I think this picture shows a pretty good way on how the grass looks like on a hill similar to yours ;
