More squinting for the sneezing blue guy. Like Evileye's edit or your old version. Love the palettes and general pixel work  :y:

The frame looks great but, the right nostril in the purple guy look like it's sneezing out mor the the left and it seem like they should be equal. The frame looks good when it is symmetrical, gives it a photo-like appearance. Maybe put a red frame around the purple guy as you put a purple frame around the red guy?
Pixel Art, what (mostly) all of us are here for.

Thanks for the edit, helped a lot I think:

still gotta make a frame for the blue guy, as well as a cleanup on the ground around them, fix the overly-symmetrical parts of the current frame, and finish pushing a few pixels around on blue guy's face
Not that I really dare crit your stuff lol but I did a tiny tiny edit just to screw up the face a bit more to try to match the intensity.

I appreciate your daring, nice edit. I'll take a closer look at it as well as evileye's before my next update.
Apologies for the delay in updating, I've been bogged down by painting and printmaking assignments. I'll return to this shortly.

@Lazybrain: Not for anything really. The concept is something I'm developing for my prints, this was made to explore the idea before I put it on a plate. And to pixel for pixelling's sake.

do what . . ?

Not understanding this project at all. What is the link all about? It's totally different. Full of ambiguous symbology.

ah: tension, resistance
choo: release, submission/surrender

top corners: tension in birth, release in death. It should make more sense in the context of the series the print will ideally be viewed in, in which the newborn's wail and the last breath are contrasted as more sensible visual examples of tension and release. I felt they emphasized the cyclic nature of tension/release well enough as-is, though.
rest of the symbols should be self-explanatory
