Colors. (The Game)

Ok so, I really wanted to make my own game so I started this.
1-4
...
Ok, this is the story.
A world where robots rule the world and sweeps mankind by taking all colors, with no colors, great depression... or so they though a young man(Iggy) finds the last of the colors in a magical red scarf the powers to transform into any weapon and must destroy the machine who holding the colors hostage.( so that means no colors.) :3

Even though I just started last week I must say the graphics are coming along smoothly.




I'm still brain storming... any suggestions?

Move list-
Left-Move left
Right-Move right
Down-Duck
Up-Jump
---------
Attacks on ground
standard Attack1-Swings sword twice, nun-chuck combo
Move left/right key-Spin sythe, make you run faster/pick up
Duck attack-Block
---------
Attacks in air
Neutral air-Ball n chain helli
Move left/right in air-Spin ax make you glide a bit
Downwards attack in air- spear makes you slam against the ground(NO CANCEL)

Don't mind the colors...I used a bit to much.

That could be neat to have him using the scarf as a weapon ... in a whip-like fashion, for instance.
I also have the feeling that it could be neat to have each monster holding a small fraction of the colors, which would be released on destruction, slowly painting the level back, but then, that'd make more sense to have the main character already in colours in a greyshades world (he'd be more recognisable, then, which is usually a Good Thing for videogames).

Ok I"ll consider my character to be all color.
..
as for the bad guys painting the world, I'll make the mini boss carry the color for the world.
I'll have a town level ,snow level, desert level then lastly a fortress level.

I really appreciate the suggestions.

True, minibosses containing most of the world's color make sense.
The idea with having other (regular) monsters having a few drops as well is that you can then use them as "organic" keys. E.g. you need to clear enough monsters in a given area so that you regain enough colour e.g. to paint back a NPC that has a mandatory item or that will grant you access to another part ... Plenty of scenaristic opportunities with that, imho, and it might make the player more emotionally involved in the quest.

Look forward to see some sketches.

Looking at my character, he seems to me he has small arms and unexciting pose, anyone suggestions on fixing?
