Hi Nix,

I think you went a little over the top on the dithering here.  The palette is nice, however the differences are a little too subtle, I think.  I'm not sure if that orange works, either.  It doesn't really have a lot of volume, it looks kinda flat.  Higher contrast should help that, also you might want to move that lightest shade inwards from the outline a bit.  I don't think those white spots really need that brown outline;  I think it would look better with a buffering shade instead.

What Darien said. And how you aa'ed the 45 degree angles does nothing but thicken/blur the lines.

If you have 45 degree lines with 2pixel lines inbetween you have to aa like this.
