I tried to go through and grab the original source submissions to create a master image, but everything's so messed up from people changing the colors globally, changing the brightness/contrast and editing each other's work (that's just wrong, people) that I got frustrated and gave up. Maybe someone can do that toward the end. I think it needs it because just going through pages 1 and 2, I saw a lot of good pixelling wrecked by other peoples' carelessness.

On the "when it's done" topic that AdamTierney just mentioned, I'd like to volunteer to split this up for a PixelDam, IsoCity, The Joint style html page that links back to all the various artists. Specifically, I'd like to do it like The Joint where you can click on a piece and get more info about the artist in a side pane.  That'll make sure the various artists get proper credit for their contribution.   :-*

Not bad, but the light outlines don't really fit with it. Same for the heavy black lines. Then for the grass, you sort of just left it blank/green. Maybe try continuing the grass .Takam started on a bit? Not bad though.

The grass is fine. It's plain in other tiles as well.

Well alright, but if you look, there's at least some sort of dithering, or shading going on in the other tiles. It's fine like that though, I was just suggesting it.

Adam, the problem with your image is that the brightness was messed up from the moment you copyed them into your paint program. Seems like it has to do with ie's handling of png's. :-\
