What a big mistake! Tamak, I know you had great intensions but it actually wasn't so smart to alter the colors. It really ruins some pieces. Perhaps not ruined, but changed it so that it doesn't look as good as the original artist wanted.

In my opinion, the palette should be neglected. This collaboration is about creativity and I think that aspect worked out fine. Don't be too strict on the other things.

Please change the colors back!

er.. the colours I got rid of were only really used in a few pixels. I didnt get rid of any colours I think people added on purpose, just colours that ended up in there because IE + .png = a big mess

Perhaps my comment might have been a bit exaggerating, as I just read it over. But the comment was based on a short comparison of your fixed version and specifically I looked at the 'midget picknicking'. See for yourself, but there is a huge difference even unzoomed.

Added my section (163 colors):

Color reduced to 128 colors:

Use whichever you choose, although I noticed almost no loss in the reduction.

@Adam - Have you noticed the change the rocks around the posing giant had? The whole darkshade is gone. I'm not sure why though. It's in both your versions.

The high-color one has everything taken from TakaM's entry without loss. All I did was add my entry and add colors. If something was lost, then someone can just grab my little section and insert it into the next one. But I pasted mine on top of Taka's in Photoshop, so it should be identical.
