takaM, great start! Very nice colours, and I like the style of the guy. The flat shading and black outlines gives him something of a boktai vibe.

First post modified with tiles grayed out to note claimed spaces.  Also, rule one has been modified to say "blocks of tiles must be touching along a side and of the same color".  Thanks Sohashu for bringing that error to my attention ;-)

@Sohashu: did you really want 2 and 3?  or did you want 2&5 or 3&8?  2 and 3 are not a legal combination, but I think you knew that ;-)

@Lick: I didn't save the final version of the first collab; the newest version I have is this one.  Does anybody have the final version of that one?  The second one was not finished due to Pixelation going flump, but it looked like this when it stopped.

@TakaM: Nice tile; let's see what people do with this.

@everybody: It would appear that rule 2 is being completely ignored.  I suspect that this will end up being quite interesting, since chances are people will start with completely different themes.  I'll let this stand for now; the last one benefitted from being started in completely different ways.  However, please try to choose tiles near already-completed ones so that this does not end up being a strange patchwork quilt.  Good luck, everyone!

Just make some art for Christ sakes. Surely, this early in the competition, you can put your bit somewhere, just do it.

Nice tiles, Neverest!  I'm glad the themes of the thus-submitted tiles are similar.

@mrmean: not only are the tiles you claimed not touching, they aren't even the same color.  So I gave you 17 alone; if you want to claim 38 after you do 17, that's fine.

First post updated again; let's see these claimed tiles get filled!
