3D is easier than pixel art is, thats why Street Fighter IV is 3D, among other reasons... Also theres many 2d video games out on the market today, i.e. Scott Pilrgrim VS The World: The Game. I also disagree with Megaman 9 and 10 (also these games are also on XBL and PSN just an FYI for you Yosh) being good examples, since a lot of sprites are recycled from previous installments, their art style isn't as much for the artistic direction as it is for marketing and raking in money, in my opinion. Anyway, I'll leave it at that I'm getting too off topic, once again Junkboy good job.

These are inspiring in so many ways ,
makes me wanna' write a short game for one of the older systems  :)

I have to ask but what game are those green and purple creatures from because those are freaking sex!
I'm suspecting that might be a demake of one of the Metroid Prime games  ::)

Congrats on getting hired by Notch! Good to see someone from Pixelation get hired on a huge project like Minecraft!
With any luck, we'll see some more people around here, attracted by the link on Notch's blog.

You just need to right click the Img then select properties then look at the file name, like #18 has the file name Re5.png = Resident Evil 5
and so on
