Uhm, how about some reflectivity in the glass. Maybe some interior details. Shade the different sides of the car with different luminosity - make the driver side darker so it's less monotonous. Toss on stronger speculars. Give it some racing decals. (it's that street racing panda car thing, right?)

About the car:
  • The wheels need to be larger.
  • Above the wheels, the hole is supposed to have a slightly arched and non-flat shape.
  • Shading suggests a slope change around the height of the door handle, which doesn't actually exist.
  • Around the plastic exterior panels, there is no metal visible at the bottom or at door edges. It's all plastic-covered.
  • The rear portion of the body is too thick. It should be about twice the combined thickness of the window frames in the middle.
  • The rear view mirror is unclear, and there is no trace of the characteristic black trapezoidal hinge cover below it.

About drawing style:
  • Some details, like the turning light and the wheel center panels, are not isometric.
  • Make up your mind on black outlines. Personally I don't like them much, but if you feel they are needed they should be neither interrupted (e.g. above the rear lights) nor confused with interior shades (e.g. above the grey plastic panels)

questseeker, some of your critiques about the car are absolutely right and I agree with them.
But, you should have presented them to the car designers as well:

http://www.google.com/images?hl=en&safe=off&gbv=2&tbs=isch:1&q=marbella+seat&sa=N&start=54&ndsp=18

the n-th (odd) case where reason is overcame by reality...
anyway, lemoncas, try to use some reference when pixelling, and if you are using it, link a picture :)

some critiques:
  • The wheels need to be larger :)
  • The radiator should be slanted
  • The top of the car looks larger than the bottom [\li]
try improving you piece
in hope of being useful

Research is definitely important. Collect multiple pictures of the car in different angles and study its proportion. By doing so, it's even possible to go for a stylistic look (so the size of the wheels isn't necessarily an issue, although they still need adjustments), as long as you are able to balance recognisable features with whatever style you want.

That said, I have a few thought on the present design myself:

* The bumpers and side skirts are too perpendicular. The bumpers slope back towards the bottom in real-life.
* The front wheel well needs to be move a little to the front (2-4 pixels to the left). It's placed too far into the back.
* To reiterate questseeker's comment, the rear portion of the body (after the doors) is too long. Shorten it by (2-4 pixels).

Collecting references is a bit difficult because there are many different-looking variants of the Panda: the first model with the asymmetrical metal front plate (which appears to be what lemoncas is trying to draw), branded either Fiat (Italian, original) or Seat (Spanish); the early revised Fiat models with a black plastic front plate and the Seat Marbella linked by Politopo (a parallel revision); the last, further revised Fiat models; the 4x4 (different side panels, wheels etc.) and 4x4 Sisley; commercial 2 seats variants (at least two different Fiat Van; Seat Terra and Trans); the Emelba Elba Cinco Puertas, rare pickups, and all the customizations and aberrations that can be expected of a popular and cheap car model.

A hodgepodge of good photographs of most of the above:

The creator still has a choice to pick which variant he wants to follow (he can even mix the models' design cue into one), but given lemoncas is going after the conventional two-door hatchback model, which body shell design is shared between different international models, the body-specific comments still apply. A rule of thumb is to nail down the basic outlining design of the body before detailing.
