i am trying to work on expressions and how facial muscles react, any resources will be helpful too, also the hair is still a wip, i'm mostly focusing on the facial features at the moment

I've should get into facial expressions sometime myself.  If you're focusing on the facial features, then you should note that the nose has no wings, and the eyes are too far apart.  Bringing them together would make the nose and mouth thinner, which would be correct.  Also, where is your light source coming from?

The light source is coming from the right side, maybe I should use lighter shades or darker shades on the left?

As for the facial expressions, I thought if I emphasized the features would've helped his expression more, but it looks it shifted the facial structure a bit!
