My thoughts would be adding a crotch, not to low but not to high either. Also for the feet, I'd say you could make it more facing forward like the big guy's back foot 1 up made. That's all I can see for now, if you could fix that I'll gladly critic a little more.

Sorry for posting after almost a month.

Exactly what I was saying but it's always better with an image example.

head, shoulders, knees and toes
mended hearts and broken bones

I'm just here to put in a plug for descriptive or at least relevent post titles.  The trend towards pretentious/noninformative wordvomit is making the forum annoying and less navigable.  Im not looking to start an argument, only saying this once...I just thought it needed to be.

I agree. Misplaced wackiness.

And isn't this odd - Madhatter and 1up (1up was there first of course) have nearly the same pixel style and wacky forum posting style. Separated at birth? If you guys exchanged pics you may find you're identical twins. Or is Madhatter 1up's bipolar account?

As for the sprite, it's simple, just make him a limbless, hairless, faceless war veteran. In doing so you'll solve all difficult limb drawing problems, you'll establish interesting character background and even have an obvious choice as to what his overall attitude is like, which you can use to keep his interactions with other characters consistent.

I don't see how I post will affect the sprite, and as long as it isn't disrupting any members from doing what they came here for theres no need. I prefer to be a bit more "wacky" then most of you guys.
yer boring
Also
I'm not 1up
nor am I as good as him, TBH.

Not to be completely off-topic, but I sorta feel like there's something backwards here; the titles are highly engaging but the sprites actually tend to be dudes standing in a line.  Call me peculiar but I get excited when I see a post like "ravenous ravenous rhino" and get a little disappointed to just see a bunch of the same stuff again.  Like I said it's not really relevent to the sprites in this thread, but to me I'd be ten times more interested in a thread that was called something boring like "rhinocerous sprite [WIP]" and then had an energetic and 'whack'y image or a rhino.  The same is true for go go gadget happy heart - your titles have me imagining artwork that would actually be really exciting!
