Cool! I still might polish up my tiles a bit more. I'll try and make it a priority and finish. I don't think the borders to neighboring tiles should be affected though at this point...
...except maybe T2: I might add some black there along the righthand side...
and go #JoJo2020!

Pixel Art / Re: [CC][WIP] wight cloth robes and sword
« Last post by startselect on August 09, 2020, 06:23:05 pm »
Thank you so much for the awesome help! I've been on vacation so I haven't been able to work on it until now but I tried lifting the right arm (it's left arm) up a bit and then making a floating idle animation. Not easy with all the cloth folds but I'm pretty happy with it still.

Edit:
Also did a side view:

Not quite as happy with this, the cloth just doesn't feel as good but I can't put my finger on it.

Pixel Art / Re: [CC] [WIP] [Nudity] Base character sprite

Pixel art is definitely a balance of real life study and stylization, especially for tiny sprites like these. I'd reccomend doing life studies as well as checking out some existing sprite styles that might be good reference.

I feel like Stardew Valley sprites might be a good place to start since these are pretty similar style-wise. :0
