The reason he was posed like that was because he was supposed to be holding a spear 
Anyways I decided to change his pose and tweak the colors.
Any C+C please.
Also I am aware he is not actually holding the sword/lance yet.

Me and my friend are making a game and this little guy has the honor of playing the lead role. I have actually spent way too much time on this one guy already >.<, the problem is that he looks pretty decent with the black background but when he ha a lighter background it losses something. I have been playing around with colors and outlines and can't really get it where I want it. Any help would be appreciated. any C+C is also welcomed

Yea it was kinda rushed. Thanks for the comment. It was just for a PJ challenge so i really don't have any desire to work on it anymore.

I like how it looks as a whole alot but there are a few things I notice. Fist it looks to me as if her fingers were beaten with a mallet. Also the torso seems to be facing to the left while the legs seem to be facing to the right, just looks odd to me.

Been working on this guy for a bit. his first pose was supposed to be him with his arm wrapped around his sword just chillin but it just looked weird no matter how I did it(2nd pic) Then I tried it with his arm up but It still looked awful so i just put the sword in a He-Man kinda pose. I tried to re do the hair a few times because something about it bothers me but nothing seemed to fix it. Just looking for some general C+C. P.S.I know the shading on the sword is off because it's still the same as when it was behind his head so just ignore that for now:P
